This was revealed to newsmen by the National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN), Comrade Israel Adeshola. The Lagos State Bus conductors association are currently re-branding their profession in a more professional way and for easy identification. This was confirmed an interview with its members stating that the members of the bus conductor unit will be mandated to wear uniforms and name tags. This decision was made in connection to support the Lagos state government’s project on Smart City Initiative . I would rather play ball or any other sport in the rain than join a voting queue! In the ongoing Local Government Elections in Lagos State, it was seen that most part of the state engaged them selves in sport activities instead of queuing up to cast their vote as expected. To these ones, politicians comes with big megaphones making promises of a brighter future etc but the truth is they generally perceived as bunch of greedy individuals who seek governmental power in a bid to enrich their pockets rather than exercise the power positively for the development of the country.
